If a seal is used in a crimp connection, the crimp contact must be matched to the seal.
The difference between the diameter of the wire and the diameter of the mounted seal must be matched to the offset (A) between the insulation and wire crimp in such a way that the wire forms an "alignment" with the seal in the finished crimp connection.
If this assignment is not correct, the seal is deformed or displaced. This leads to the fact that an optimal sealing of the wire mounted in the connector housing is no longer possible.
In addition, the chamber play of the contact in the connector housing is restricted or eliminated. This can lead to assembly problems when joining the connector housings and thus to contacting problems
