Working on the stripper crimper
Crimppedia is the technical library for cable processing and crimping technology and a joint project of KabelForum.com and Crimp-Academy.com.
In addition to general information, you will find the following in this library: technical articles, definitions, graphics, photos, videos and more related to cable processing. The focus is on the practical application of these technologies, i.e. the know-how required to produce functioning wire harnesses and good crimp connections.
This project replaces the technology library (“Technikbibliothek”) on KabelForum.com. In the next few weeks, a comprehensive, multilingual encyclopedia on all aspects of cable processing will be created here.
Everyone in the industry is familiar with this problem: You have a question about cable processing and difficulties to find the right answer. In-depth information about cable processing is very scarce, even on the internet. How come? Unfortunately, the official standards define very little, there is no sound professional training for cable harnessing and consequently very limited literature on these technologies.
Much of the information you will find here is the result of practical tests and experience and does not claim to be complete. Machine equipment illustrated and described is intended solely to illustrate the basic technical processes and should not be regarded as a recommendation to buy, nor is it intended as such. Technical processes and concepts are also subject to change as a result of constant further development.
If you are confronted with a certain special task in the field of wire processing, there is probably a possible technical solution. You are welcome to contact our partners and sources listed here. Or you can send an e-mail to:
Do you have smart solutions for common, difficult manufacturing challenges?
Send us an e-mail! We will be happy to publish these solutions, in the form of technical articles, pictures and / or videos in Crimppedia!
Sincerely,
The Team
